Heading to Niger

Hey Hey!

I created this blog in an attempt to provide information on upcoming projects and to keep in touch with everyone during my Peace Corps service. I don't have anything to report now (because I haven't begun service yet!) but there will be more news to come later. Peace out.

  8. Hey Charlene!
You don't know me. My name is Samaila. AKA "Sam". I am currently graduating from Indiana University of Pennsylvania.(IUP).I grew up in Hamdallaye, the small town where the major Peace Corps Center is located in Niger. I met many volunteers as a child there, and fell in love with English. I majored in English and Journalism in the USA on a Fulbright scholarship and I am returning to Niger soon,to start working. I hope you like my country. It may be too hot for you now, but you will love my people, I am positive. Thank you for joining the peace corps. This blog is a good initiative because Niger is not well-known in the States. Tell us your stories when you get a chance.
